A delicious, soft, and spongy baked cake recipe made with custard powder flavor. It is a unique cake recipe. It can be easily served as dessert cake after a meal or perhaps as an evening snack with a cup of tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup curd
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup powder sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup refined flour
- 3 tablespoon custard powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon tutti frutti
- 1/2 teaspoon refine flour
Method:
- Preheat oven at 180 C for 10 minutes.
- Grease the baking pan with oil and flour it well and tap out the excess flour.
- Coat tutti fruitti with flour and leave it aside.
- In a medium bowl, sift the flour,custard powder, baking soda, baking powder.
- In a large bowl, add the oil and powder sugar and beat till the sugar is well combined.
- Add curd and mix till combined.
- Add the flour and mix.
- Gradually add milk to make a smooth batter.
- Add coated tutti frutti and mix well.
- garnish with some tutti frutti.
- Pour the batter in cake tin.
- Smooth the top lightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes till a skewer inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire cake rack for 10 minutes and invert the cake onto the rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy with tea or serve it as dessert.
