Mango Trifle

This Mango Trifle recipe is just perfect for summerIt’s refreshing and light, and bursting with juicy mango. This Mango Trifle is just right for any summertime celebration .

Ingredients:

  • 12 Nutri choice biscuits
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 2 Mangoes
  • 2 tablespoon custard powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 7 to 8 saffron strands

Method:

  • Soak saffron in one tablespoon milk for 30 minutes.
  • Wash the mangoes and peel them nicely. Next, finely chop the mangoes into small pieces. Reserve a few pieces for garnishing and grind the remaining into a thick pulp.
  • Take a bowl and make the custard by mixing the custard powder with 1/4 cup milk and stir until the mixture turns into a smooth blend without any lumps.
  • Now, put a pan over medium flame and boil the remaining milk. Bring the milk to a boil and add the custard, sugar, and saffron milk and blend to it. When the mixture gets thicken switch off the flame.
  • When custard cools down then add the mango puree and mix well.
  • Grind the biscuits in a mixer jar and make a fine powder.
  • In a flat bowl add first layer biscuits.
  • Then pour custard and set 2nd layer.
  • Garnish with the reserved mangoes and whipped cream and serve it chilled.
