Ingredients

  • 1 Kg curd
  • 1 teaspoon cardamoms powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 7 to 8 strand of saffron 
  • 2 teaspoon milk
  • 4 to 5  almond chopped
  • 4 to 5  pistachio chopped

Method

  • For hung curd, you can hang curd in a muslin cloth till all the water drains out or for 3 hours.
  • However, the simpler method is to keep the curd in a large stainless steel sieve and let it stay there for about 15 minutes till all the water drains out.
  • Rub the saffron into the warm milk until it dissolves.
  • Mix the hung curd and sugar in a bowl with the spoon till it gets a smooth texture.
  • Add the saffron milk, cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Sprinkle almond and pistachio on top. Chill and serve cold with puris.
