No-Bake Mango Mousse Oreo Tarts

Mango mousse is a perfect summer dessert. Delicious mango puree is mixed with luscious silky cream and topped with mango chunks. No-bake tarts and filled with mango mousse make it more gourmet. The chocolatey Oreos are a perfect match for this mango mousse. Mango mousse is a perfect summer dessert. It’s a very delicious and sumptuous dessert ideal to beat the heat. It’s an easy, quick, eggless, no-cook, absolutely fuss-free dessert.

Ingredients:

For the Mango Mousse:

  • Whipping Cream – 100 gm
  • Cream Cheese -50 gm
  • Mango Puree -50 gm
  • Icing sugar -10 gm
  • Yellow colour (optional)

Method:

  • Whisk the cream until stiff peaks.
  • Whisk the cream cheese and icing sugar separately and then add mango puree.
  • Add 1/3 of the whipping cream into mango cream cheese, then add this mix into the
    whipping cream and mix.
  • Add yellow colour and mix it.

For Tarts :

  • Oreo biscuits- 26
  • Butter- 8 tablespoons

Method:

  • To make the tart shells, break Oreo cookies in a random manner.
  • Pulse them, along with the filling cream, in a food processor until finely ground.
  • Add in melted butter and mix well.
  • Press the mixture evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of your tart mold.
  • Place them in the fridge for about 45-50 minutes to firm up before adding the filling- Mango Mousse.

How To Assemble Tarts :

  • When tarts are all set, loosen the edges and gently push the removable bottoms up and they will come out easily.
  • Spoon the chilled Mango mousse into the chilled Oreo crust.
  • Garnish them with reserved whipped cream, purée, and fruits or nuts of your choice.
  • Keep in the freezer these prepared tarts for an hour, before serving.
  • The mousse will set very nicely in the tarts in the freezer.
