Badam Milk or Almond Milk

Badam Milk or Almond Milk Recipe

Almond milk is the most nutritious and very rich drink.
Here, in this badam milk we need to make a powder and also I have used badam paste to thicken the milk and into it, the badam powder is added to give the best flavor of kesar.
Kesar badam milk tastes best if we use a double toned milk or a whole milk.

Ingredients:

500 ml milk
5 tsp sugar or as per taste
10 almond paste (almonds blanched, peeled and made into a paste)
For badam powder

5-6 almonds
4-5 cashew nuts
4-5 pistachios
2-3 cardamoms
3-4 strands of saffrons
1 tsp sugar

Method:

For Badam powder :

In a blender, add almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, cardamom, strands of saffrons and sugar.
Blend this mixture into a fine powder.
Rest it aside for further use.

For Badam Milk;

Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy bottom pan.
Low heat and add almond paste, mix and cook for 5-10 minutes.
Keep stirring while cooking.
Add blended badam powder.
Add sugar according to your taste.
Cook and stir this mixture another 5-10 minutes.
In winter serve hot and in summer serve chilled.
Garnish with some cardamom powder and saffron strands.
