Chocolate Mousse recipe

Chocolate mousse is simple but effective. Chocolate mousse is an edible foam, originating from France and most commonly eaten as a dessert.

Chocolate mousse usually consists of eggs, sugar and chocolate and cream, and other flavorings. Chocolate mousse is a good source of calcium, vitamin A and vitamin B12, though it has significant quantities of fat and sugar.

People love to ooh and ahh over most homemade desserts, but from scratch chocolate mousse dessert is enough to make their jaws drop. Impress the pants off your dinner guests by whipping up easy mousse dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 150 grams chocolate
  • 12- 15 Chocolate Cookies
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • some silver balls

Method:

To Make Chocolate Disc:

Take a mixing bowl, add 150 grams chocolate to it and melt it in the microwave / by double boiler on the stove. Take an OSP sheet and spread the melted chocolate on it by making a thick layer. Bring it to the room temperature, place a cookie cutter on it to make a round shape of this chocolate, and keep the sheet in the refrigerator to set.

To make base:

Take 12- 15 chocolate cookies and grind it in the mixer and add 1 tablespoon butter and mix it well. Take a plate, place a cookie cutter in it and put this mixture in the cookie-cutter, and make a thick base. Keep the base in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set it well.

-Further, take the chocolate sheet and remove extra chocolate from it and keep the round shape disc in the refrigerator.

To make Ganache:

Melt the remaining chocolate in a bowl, add 1/4 cup fresh cream in it and mix it well to bring it to the room temperature.

To make Mousse:

Take 1 cup whipped cream in a bowl and whipped it until stiffed peek comes.

-Add some whipped cream in ganache and mix it to check the consistency of the mixture. Further, add some more whipped cream and keep mixing it.

Assembling:

Take the base out of the refrigerator. Put Chocolate mousse in a piping bag and place a star-shaped nozzle on it. Further, keep adding mousse to it by making flower shapes. Place 1 chocolate disc on the mousse layer and again make a layer of mousse. Place another chocolate disc and some more mousse on it. Place silver balls on the top of each mousse. Brush some ganache on the plate and some mousse on it with some silver balls on top.
