Mango Pista Ice cream, Easy Mango ice cream recipe

This mango pistachios ice cream will be an absolute hit this summer. This easy homemade ice cream is super creamy and sweet, with a delicious zing from the mango which leaves you wanting more. 


Mango Ice cream


Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups Full Fat Milk
  • 4 Tablespoon Corn Flour/custard powder/gulab jamun premix
  • 6 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1.5 cups Mango puree
  • 1/4 cups chopped pistachios
  • 7 -8 strands saffron strands

Method:
  • Heat in a pan mango puree and 4 tablespoon sugar and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Bring 3.5 cups milk to boil with saffron and reduced to simmer.
  • Cook for 15 minutes till the milk has reduced to half.
  • In a small bowl, mix remaining milk with cornflour and add this mix into the simmering milk, stirring continuously.
  • Cook for two minutes, till the mixture, thickens.
  • Transfer it into a clean bowl and let it cool down completely.
  • Once cooled, mix in the mango puree.
  • Cover and freeze it for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Remove and blend in a blender till it is smooth.
  • Now pour in a box and add nuts and cover it and freeze it till ice cream set.
  • When set, scoop and serve and garnish with nuts.
