Kiwi Mojito

A refreshing kiwi mojito is made by muddling fresh kiwis, mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar/simple syrup, then shaking or stirring with white rum and topping with soda water. This sweet and tangy tropical drink is served over ice, garnished with additional kiwi slices and mint.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe kiwis (peeled and chopped)
  • 6–8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp – 1 tbsp sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Club soda or sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Muddle: In a sturdy glass, muddle the chopped kiwi, mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar together until the kiwi is pulpy.
  2. Ice & Fizz: Fill the glass with ice cubes. Top off with sparkling water or club soda.
  3. Garnish: Garnish with extra kiwi slices and a sprig of fresh mint.

Tips for the Best Kiwi Mojito

  • Sweetness: Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of the kiwis.
  • Texture: If you prefer a smoother drink, blend the kiwi, lime juice, and sugar first, then strain before adding to the mint.
  • Flavor Boost: Use a sprite or lemon-lime soda instead of soda water for a sweeter, more dessert-like drink
