text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">1 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">1-inch ginger<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">2 green chilis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Oil for frying<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Click the <b><i>PLAY BUTTON<\/i><\/b> below to view the video recipe of <b><i>KALMI VADA<\/i><\/b>:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3WFztbUBeck\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><b>Method:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Wash chana dal and soaked for 3 hours and drain water after soaking.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Add soaked dal into the mixer jar and add salt, ginger, green chilis and blend coarsely.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">The texture of dal should be a bit grainy.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Heat the oil and over high heat, put it as many balls as come in without touching, turn about 10 seconds, and lower the heat.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Cook till firm on both sides, but not brown.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">When cool, slice into 1\/2 inch thick slices.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Before serving, deep-fry the slices, first over high heat then lower the heat till crisp golden brown.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Take them out over a paper towel.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Kalmi vadas\u00a0are ready to serve.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Serve this green Chutney or tomato sauce.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">Note:<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">kalmi\u00a0Vadas can be prepared ahead of time.
