8<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Turmeic Powder- 1\/2 teaspoon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Onion &#8211; 1 medium sized chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Tomato &#8211; 1 medium sized chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Carrot &#8211; 2 medium sized chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Peas &#8211; 1\/4 cup<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Capsicum- 1\/4 cup chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Eno(fruit salt)- 1 pouch<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Method:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AOjcmSsKlY0\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Heat a pan add 3 teaspoon oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal and curry leaves and saute for a minute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Now add semolina and roast well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Roast for 5 minutes or until the semolina turns aromatic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Cool the semolina completely and transfer to a bowl.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Heat 1 teaspoon oil in another pan and add 1\/4 teaspoon cumin seeds and roast for one minute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Add chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, peas and tomato and saute and add turmeric and salt and mix well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Cover it and cook for 2 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Cool it and add in semolina and mix it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Add curd and mix well to forming a thick batter.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Add water and mix well forming&nbsp; a smooth batter.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Grease the idli plate with oil and just efore steaming add a 1 pouch eno (fruit salt)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Pour the batter immediately into the idli plate.
